Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, November 25, 2024, the committee resumed its study of subject matter of Bill C-63, An Act to enact the Online Harms Act, to amend the Criminal Code, the Canadian Human Rights Act and An Act respecting the mandatory reporting of Internet child pornography by persons who provide an Internet service and to make consequential and related amendments to other Acts.

Frances Haugen, Marni Panas and Jocelyn Monsma Selby made statements and answered questions.

At 12:02 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 12:09 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Andrew Clement, Guillaume Rousseau and Joanna Baron made statements and answered questions.

At 1:06 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 4:40 p.m. on Monday, January 6, 2025, the meeting was adjourned due to the proclamation of prorogation, terminating the 1st Session of the 44th Parliament.
