Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, March 21, 2024, the committee resumed its study of antisemitism and additional measures that could be taken to address the valid fears that are being expressed by Canada’s Jewish community.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $25,250, for the study of antisemitism and additional measures that could be taken to address the valid fears that are being expressed by Canada’s Jewish community, be adopted.

Deborah Lyons, Richard Robertson, Richard Marceau and Jaime Kirzner-Roberts made statements and answered questions.

At 9:22 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:27 a.m., the sitting resumed.

James A. Diamond, Ted Rosenberg, Deidre Butler and Cary Kogan made statements and answered questions.

At 10:23 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
