The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

At 3:35 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 3:35 p.m., the sitting resumed.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $1,770, for the study of the Report 5, Chronic Homelessness, of the 2022 Reports 5 to 8 of the Auditor General of Canada, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $2,840, for the study of the Report 6, Arctic Waters Surveillance, of the 2022 Reports 5 to 8 of the Auditor General of Canada, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $1,420, for the study of the Report 8, Emergency Management in First Nations Communities – Indigenous Services Canada, of the 2022 Reports 5 to 8 of the Auditor General of Canada, be adopted.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g) and the motion adopted by the committee on Friday, October 21, 2022, the committee resumed consideration of Report 1, Access to Benefits for Hard-to-Reach Populations, of the 2022 Reports 1 to 4 of the Auditor General of Canada referred to the committee on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

The committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Access to Benefits for Hard-to-Reach Populations".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12-point font, left aligned, single-spaced, and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the clerk of the committee, not later than 8:00 a.m., on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.

ORDERED, — That the clerk and analysts of the committee, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the committee’s website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

At 4:15 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
