Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, April 28, 2022, the committee resumed consideration of follow-up Study on Report 3, Access to Safe Drinking Water in First Nations Communities — Indigenous Services Canada, of the 2021 Reports 1 to 5 of the Auditor General of Canada.

Motion

Blake Desjarlais moved, — That, in relation to the Follow-up Study on Report 3, Access to Safe Drinking Water in First Nations Communities – Indigenous Services Canada, of the 2021 Reports 1 to 5 of the Auditor General of Canada, the committee calls on the Minister of Indigenous Services and the Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations to appear at the Public Accounts Committee in light of the seriousness and urgency of the issues raised by this study.

After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was agreed to on the following recorded division:

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g), the committee resumed consideration of Report 9, COVID-19 Vaccines, of the 2022 Reports 9 and 10 of the Auditor General of Canada, referred to the committee on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of Report 9, COVID-19 Vaccines, 2022, the analysts be authorized to take notes of the Blues transcripts of May 1 and May 4, 2023, for the purpose of drafting a report.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g), the committee resumed consideration of Report 4, Systemic Barriers—Correctional Service Canada, of the 2022 Reports 1 to 4 of the Auditor General of Canada, referred to the committee on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

The committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Systemic Barriers—Correctional Service Canada".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerks and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

ORDERED, — That the clerks and analysts of the committee, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the committee’s website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

At 12:59 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
