It was agreed, — That the committee meet, in an informal meeting, with a delegation of members of the Standing Committee on Auditor-General from the Parliament of the Republic of South Africa on Thursday, September 28, 2023; and that the committee defray the hospitality expenses related to this meeting.
Nathalie Sinclair-Desgagné moved, — That the committee ask the Auditor General to investigate the funding agreement between the Government of Canada and the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation for the Advanced Research in the Humanities and Human Sciences Fund, particularly in regard to the Foundation’s compliance with its obligations under this agreement and under Part II of the Canada Corporations Act.

Valerie Bradford moved, — That the motion be amended by replacing the words “Part II of the Canada Corporations Act” with the words “relevant canadian legislation”.

The motion, as amended, read as follows:
That the committee ask the Auditor General to investigate the funding agreement between the Government of Canada and the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation for the Advanced Research in the Humanities and Human Sciences Fund, particularly in regard to the Foundation’s compliance with its obligations under this agreement and under the relevant canadian legislation.

The committee commenced consideration of a draft report.
It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Accessible Transportation for Persons With Disabilities".
It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.
It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.
It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12-point font, left aligned, single-spaced, and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the clerk of the committee, not later than Monday, 25 September 2023.
