Motion

Charles Sousa moved, — That, when the committee undertakes to invite witnesses:

(a) a witness list submission deadline be set by the Chair, with the explicit consent of the committee;

(b) witnesses be invited proportionally to each recognized party standing in the House; and

(c) no such witness be invited without instruction of the committee.

At 11:48 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 11:51 a.m., the sitting resumed.

RULING BY THE CHAIR

The Chair deems the motion inadmissible.

Whereupon, Charles Sousa appealed the decision of the Chair.

The question: ''Shall the decision of the Chair be sustained?'' was put and it was negatived on the following recorded division:
