Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the National Shipbuilding Strategy.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

Motion

Pierre Paul-Hus moved, — That the committee order the production, by no later than Friday, April 8, 2022, of a copy of all documents, signed or unsigned, related to the negotiation of the coalition agreement between the Liberal Party of Canada and the New Democratic Party, or what the Prime Minister refers to as a "supply and confidence agreement", including any documents which record or demonstrate an understanding between the parties as to how the coalition commitments will be interpreted, and that the committee report these documents to the House.

After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was negatived on the following recorded division:

YEAS: Kelly McCauley, Pierre Paul-Hus, Blake Richards — 3;

NAYS: Parm Bains, Anthony Housefather, Gord Johns, Majid Jowhari, Annie Koutrakis, Irek Kusmierczyk — 6.
