Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, the committee resumed its study of the purchase of the official residence of the Consul General in New York.

By unanimous consent, it was agreed, — That in relation to the study on the purchase of the official residence of the Consul General in New York, the Chair will convene an additional meeting on either Thursday, September 12, 2024, or during a regular Committee meeting timeslot to hear testimony from Tom Clark, Consul General in New York.

Jonathan Miller and Thomas Aabo made statements and answered questions.

At 12:05 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
