John Ossowski and Zain Manji made statements and answered questions.
On motion of Gord Johns, it was agreed, — That pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee undertake a study on the role of federal procurement in fostering a resilient domestic personal protective equipment industry; that the committee have no less than three meetings to hear from witnesses; that the committee request testimony from the Minister of Public Services and Procurement, any relevant government officials, and industry representatives; that the committee report its recommendations to the House and that, pursuant to Standing Order 109, it request that the government table a detailed response to the report.
Questioning of the witnesses resumed.
At 4:42 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 4:44 p.m., the sitting resumed in public.

At 5:29 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.
At 5:39 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
