Jennifer Carr and Jordan McAuley made statements and answered questions.
It was agreed, — That the Chair, in consultation with the clerk and analysts, send a letter to GC Strategies informing them that documents submitted are incomplete, and reiterating the request for documents in the context of the committee's study of the ArriveCAN application, further to the order of Monday, October 17, 2022, that the committee send for, in an unredacted format, the following documents: the list of contractors and subcontractors, the breakdown of the costs, the list of contracts, all requests for proposal, and invoices.
It was agreed, — That the committee publish on its website documents received pursuant to orders sending for documents adopted by the committee on Thursday, October 6, 2022, and Thursday, December 1, 2022, in the context of its study of travel expenditures related to the Office of the Governor General's Secretary since 2014.
It was agreed, — That the Chair, in consultation with the clerk and analysts, send a letter to McKinsey & Company confirming the committee’s expectation to receive all documents in unredacted form sent for in its order of Wednesday, January 18, 2023, in the context of its study of federal government consulting contracts awarded to McKinsey & Company, by the deadline set forth in the order; and that the committee invite McKinsey & Company to submit a list outlining its request for confidential treatment of documents, which the committee would then consider.
It was agreed, — That the committee travel to Lévis, Québec, City of Québec, Québec, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Victoria, British Columbia, and Vancouver, British Columbia, in relation to its study of the National Shipbuilding Strategy, and that the necessary staff do accompany the committee.
