Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, the committee resumed its study of the purchase of the official residence of the Consul General in New York.

On motion of Larry Brock, it was agreed, — That the evidence to be given by Thomas Clark in relation to the study of the purchase of the official residence of the Consul General in New York be taken under oath or by solemn affirmation.

Thomas Clark, duly sworn, made a statement and answered questions.

At 12:05 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 12:13 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)c) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, the committee commenced its study of the bilingual status of 24 additional post offices in the Greater Montreal area.

Sarah Boily and Carsten Quell made statements and, with the other witness, answered questions.

At 1:14 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
