Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, May 6, 2024, the committee commenced its study of Global Affairs Canada Audit of procurement of consulting services.

Shirley Carruthers made a statement and, with Natalie Lalonde and Daniel Pilon, answered questions.

At 1:13 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

At 1:35 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to its study, the committee invite to appear Excel HR.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

Motion

Garnett Genuis moved, — That, in relation to its study, the minister of Foreign Affairs be invited to appear for a period of two hours.

Debate arose thereon.
